Dumbass in a BMW drives into flooded river-road

I'm not sure what this guy was thinking, but he boldly went where no BMW has gone before. A BMW 3-Series driver decided to plow through a flooded road, resulting in an instant fail. A BMW comes with many options, but I'm pretty sure "life raft" isn't one of them. Maybe next time he'll buy a Bimini boat instead of a beamer! By the looks of the road, it doesn't even appear that the direction the driver took was towards an actual thoroughfare. There's a lot of bad drivers in the world, but this one is by far the worse.

I'm not sure which is worse, the fact a BMW has been tragically destroyed or that this clown put Altezza style lights on the all-mighty BMW. Dude, the BMW is nice enough as it is; leave it alone. Put your money where it counts, into the motor! The BMW engine is one of the best motors ever made thanks to amazing craftsmanship, superior engineering, and just as BMW says, "the ultimate driving machine". That's a bold statement to make, and BMW backs it up generously. They might make amazing engines, but even these mechanical marvels have flaws; they're not waterproof. An engine is an air pump, not a water pump!

Just like other high precision MAF vehicles, if you get the MAF sensor wet the car literally runs like crap. It throws off the voltage reading and causes chaos to your fuel map. If the car doesn't die instantly, it will surely become much more sluggish; and for a good reason. Hyrdolock can destroy a motor, and I'm pretty sure this 3-Series is totally screwed. You can't dip your hood into floodwater like a cookie into milk and expect positive results. The best part about this video, the driver actually expects the rescue team to "just push it out". He obviously has no idea how strong water can be.
