Ferrari 458 Italia crashes into tree!

The Ferrari 458 Italia is a beautiful vehicle when it's not accessorized by a mighty oak. In a contest to see who would turn yellow first, the tree and the Ferrari 458 Italia decided to play a game of chicken. Guess who won? Here's a hint, it's not the Ferrari. There's not much that can stand up against 40 years of cellulose forming into dense little chunks of wood! Even though the Ferrari 458 Italia is a great handling vehicle, it still can't control the loose nut behind the wheel. Mix crazy or uninformed behind the wheel of a supercar, and you almost always get disaster.

From the looks of this video, the Ferrari owner was pretty well set on driving quickly, even through dense areas loaded with potential danger. One day he's flying down the road, the next day you find him wrapped around a tree. The problem with the Ferrari is that it handles so well, when it finally looses traction you have little to no time to make the correction. You can push them, and push them; but when they break loose it's over. The speed is very enticing to the owners, and the end result is typically what we have here; a mess.

So what all was lost when this 458 Italia was sacrificed to the fun gods? The Ferrari 458 Italia came with a 4.499 liter V8 engine producing 560 horsepower at 9,000 RPM and 400 foot pounds of torque at just 6,000 RPM. That's a high revving powerhouse, with a very impressive red line. Ripping through the seven speed dual clutch transmission up to the point of collision must have been fun! Then just as fast as the thrill of the Ferrari came into your life, it was gone. That is the story of many Ferrari owners. RIP 458 Italia, you looked to be a fun drive.
