If Ferrari had any idea that this is what their cars were being used for, they would probably flip out. Even though it appears sacrilegious to the Ferrari cult, this might actually lead to something good. Imagine if Ferrari built a car similar to the Subaru Impreza or Mitsubishi EVO; a small all-wheel drive sedan or coupe with decent clearance and the ability to dominate all terrain. Would Ferrari be a contender in WRC? I highly doubt they'll ever venture into that territory, but it is fun to think about. Until then, all we can do is take our Italian stallions off the tarmac and hope that nothing breaks; if it does, we had better prepare to take it in the A - account that is.
