Lamborghini and Koenigsegg get parking boots!

In the land of London, ticket issuance can be somewhat difficult when you're dealing with plates from various countries. In the follow clip, a set of Arab exotic car owners were defiantly parking illegally and continuously dodging tickets. London can't pursue plates from Saudi Arabia according to YouTube comments, and thus the reason why parking boots or wheel clamps are the only solution. Then, and only then will the Arab parking ticket bandits actually pay up. Despite the possible destruction of a very exotic car, I find this quite humorous.

This whole story reminds me of a Monty Python flick. On one hand you've got the London police throwing a fuss over some cars that are parked illegally on a continuous basis. These drivers know they're from another country and London can't actually follow suit with a ticket, so they continue to evade the bobbies even though they could easily afford to pay the fine. Then finally the police get together and come up with a plan. "We'll use parking boots!" All the while the Arab drivers are laughing from the retro cafe in the background as the all-thumb bobbies fiddle and fan-dangle boots onto the exotics, causing more damage and cost to the police headquarters than the tickets are worth in the first place. This scene conjures up quite a funny scenario. Who's the goose!

How would you react if you came out and found your supercar tethered by a parking boot? I for one would be inspecting every square inch of the vehicle to make sure they didn't damage anything. Oh the pain of seeing these beautiful vehicles chained up like pigs to the market. It's terrible if you put yourself in their shoes. Outside of the humorous scenario, it is quite an atrocity to see such an abuse of modern exotics by both the drivers and police. The drivers should know better and have more respect for their vehicles, and the police should refrain from booting such a priceless possession. After all, these are not cars but chariots for the rich inspired by the heavens. Offend one, and thou shalt be smited.
