Nissan Skyline drifts on ice

Drifting on ice with a Nissan Skyline R33 sedan is a beautiful symphony of all-wheel drive JDM fun! Watching the rare sports car known as Godzilla drift and slide is of utmost pleasure for the savvy JDM automotive enthusiast. The Nissan Skyline R33 GTS25t sedan was one of the few four door Skylines to grace the streets. Considered somewhat a black sheep of the Skyline family, the GTS25t was geared more towards satisfying the consumers who demanded top performance out of a larger style sedan.

No longer considered a compact, the GTS25t was placed in a larger tax bracket liability due to it's larger exterior dimensions. The GTS25t featured a 2.5L RB25DET DOHC turbo inline six cylinder engine capable of 250 horsepower and 232 foot pounds of torque. It by no means was a performance monster straight from the factory, but with a little tweaking to the T3 turbo, adding more fuel, and removal of intake/exhaust restrictions one could easily achieve power numbers above 300 horsepower.

The following video gives us a preview of what drifting life is like in Vladivostok, Russia. The largest Russian port city on the Pacific Ocean, you are bound to run into tons of imports like the Nissan Skyline, Subaru Impreza, and more. Just like in Tokyo's port area, the automotive enthusiasts are plentiful and always ripping up the scene. Enjoy the following clip; hopefully he doesn't break through the ice!
