Tour of Saudi Arabian car show

It's rare that we get to see what the automotive culture is like outside of the United States. Thanks to the wonderful technology of YouTube and the vast social network of friends that I have from around the world, I am able to bring you clips you normally wouldn't see. If you are an avid reader of my column, by now you know pretty much all there is to know about the infamous sport of "Saudi drift". There's another side to Saudi automotive enthusiasm, and it's not just taking rental or stolen vehicles and trashing them on the highway. Thanks to a video clip by Saudi911.com, we get to see the inside look at a very nice Saudi Arabian car show.

More international automotive enthusiast coverage!

At this show the first thing you'll notice is the immense amount of customization done to nearly all of the vehicles. Old school, new school, imports, and a surprising amount of American vehicles are all present and accounted for. There's a modified "Snicker bus", custom painted Suburbans, chromed out BMW's, custom motorcycles, and countless classics that have all been tweaked out to the max. Nearly every form of automotive enthusiasm exists in this car show, and all of the cars are very clean considering they are exposed to desert winds and the sun. Enjoy the exciting walk through video footage as we get to see the insider's look at the Saudi Arabian automotive culture.
