Renting the 2010 Camaro SS and jumping it into a catastrophic wreck, the following crazed youth driver attempts the unthinkable. Jumping the 2010 Camaro SS on stock suspension at a high rate of speed, the car is doomed to fail. Stock suspension is designed for road driving, not rally dude! Just as he learned, when the car landed it had a wicked soft rebound which catapulted the vehicle off the road. Another rule of jumping vehicles was broken when the driver failed to pre-load the suspension. Tapping the brakes, or even in some cases just letting off the gas will bring the nose down and pre-load the suspension. This takes the front of the car and pushes the nose upward upon lift off so that it doesn't come nose plowing back down to earth.
If the 2010 Camaro could have kept control, the jump would have been stellar. Just look at that hang time! However, because the driver failed to follow the rules of jumping he failed. When jumping a car, you have to take all the laws of physics into consideration. Big jump stars like Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, and Gil Raconis. Now we have added to that list the one day some guys took a rented Camaro out for a friendly jump and failed into a telephone pole.
