Oh no, a Maserati Spyder has been crashed! No big deal really, over in Italy these things have been used and abused and are in no way considered an "exotic" vehicle. Would an exotic be used to tow a camper or be moved with a forklift? No, but either way it is still a nice car but by no means an exotic or supercar. The following clip is not Mel Gibson's crash footage, but we get to see a beautifully assembled masterpiece being destroyed around the perils of Nurburgring. This isn't the first car to be wrecked on the ring, and it surely won't be the last.
As this Maserati swoops and pulls through the corners, you can almost feel the heavy chassis the of Spyder pushing the tires. As the last fatal turn approaches, you can see the driver's anticipation as a total newb. Sure enough, he over corrects and sends the Maserati crashing into the rails. What could have been done to prevent this from happening? A simple driving class to learn how to react to the human body's response to situations like this would have been key. Sometimes your gut instinct isn't right, and that's where training comes in.
