Ford Mustang skateboard car

When it comes to being creative and crazy, Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Rob Dyrdek have taken skateboarding to the next level. Using a Ford Mustang as a skateboard car, the third season premier of MTV's Fantasy Factory with Rob Dyrdek is going to be a hit. Who thinks of this stuff, seriously? Well, Ford actually made a CGI clip of a Mustang skateboarding through a city, but this was more of a mockery than "cool". To make a Mustang into a real skateboard, several modifications to the vehicle must be done such as upgraded under body protection, frame and chassis strengthening, and some beefy performance upgrades. Not only must the car be special, but the driver must be exquisite as well. Vaughn Gittin Jr. is a Formula D drifter with plenty of experience to skateboard a Mustang. The next question is, what all will they do for the season premier? I'd personally love to see some hang time.

Who's the man behind the wheel? If you haven't been paying attention to Formula D, let me bring you up to spec. Vaughn Gittin Jr. is a self-taught professional Formula D drifter from Annapolis, Maryland. Driving the 2010 Falken Tire Ford Mustang GT, this car is a treat to both audible and visual senses. This guy can drive, and it's really evident when watching his Formula D performance. Aside from Formula D, Vaughn also participates at Ford events around the county when not performing for his crew, "Drift Alliance". When most people think of skateboarding, the half-pipe is the most prominent figure aside from the board itself in the world of skateboarding. Will we see some big air with this Ford Mustang skateboard car? Possibly! Watching the preview below, we get a great glimpse of what fun is to come.
