Old people are cool! Veteran drifts a Volvo

Who says that drifting is a sport for the youth? This veteran of the toughest war known to mankind, WWII, takes a lowered Volvo and pushes the limits. Leaving his mark on every road he touches, this guy knows how to have fun. The beauty about using a Volvo for these type of "mark'm" tasks is that the motors are literally bulletproof. They can take high mileage, vicious abuse, and even the hardcore folly a WWII veteran can throw at it.Discuss this article with CarDomain.com
There is nothing stopping this Swedish vehicle of mechanical perfection. Anything short of explosive destruction will not stop the Volvo. This brings us to the question of how much punishment it would take to kill a Volvo. It's like asking how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop; the world may never know. But one thing I do know is that Volvo makes an exception vehicle that has withstood the trials and tribulations of time, punishment, and high mileage. Out of all the European manufacturers, I feel that Volvo holds the highest amount of dependability.

Not only the engine on a Volvo is strong, the chassis is nothing to laugh at either. Crash ratings on the Volvo models have been consistently at the top of their game, as well as the curb weights. The only downfall to a Volvo is that they are heavy. Despite their hefty weight they still maintain a decent gas mileage and great handling. We all typically think that a light weight vehicle will handle better, but there is also value in weight. Don't forget that it's weighted pressure that keeps your tire within traction through the corners; and this is where Volvo engineering shines. A historical figure in rally, Volvo continues to marvel the world by producing the fastest tanks known to man!
