10 rounds fired into Lamborghini Murcielago

A Lamborghini Murcielago was captured that had been shot ten times by what looks to be a 9mm automatic weapon. Let's face it, these cars are expensive and the people buying them aren't always the "straightest shooters"; pun intended. Don't get me wrong, most Lamborghini owners are true car enthusiasts and are respectful, law abiding citizens. Just in everything, there's always a few rotten apples that stink the pile for everyone.

It takes a lot of money to afford a Lamborghini Murcielago, and unfortunately not everyone earns them the legal way. There's a good chance this is why these bullet holes appear in the lower door of the drivers side. Whoever was shooting at this Lambo was shooting to kill the driver. Look closer, and you just might suspect these are those silly vinyl bullet holes. Nope! Take a look at the paint separation and the carbon fiber strands left unattached. These are obviously real!

The story around this shot up Lambo is totally unknown and there is no way of ever finding out. All we can do is speculate and observe the evidence. The difference in door materials is able to be seen, as the carbon fiber paneling and aluminum door have visible bullet penetration exposing the materials within. It's nice to know that the side has some impact resistance, however this is obviously not enough to stop a bullet. These rounds appear to be 9mm or maybe .45; imagine if it was shot with something larger like a .50! There would be nothing left of the carbon fiber, and the interior would be a mess.
