Caught on video: speeding ticket bribery

Bribery is illegal in the United States, but it's not "exactly" illegal in other parts of the world. In some parts of the world, the bribery system is just how things get done. In Croatia, a Mercedes-Benz was caught doing two and a half times the speed limit by a Croatian police officer. The speeding driver bribed his way out of the speeding ticket with two hundred Euro, and no paperwork was filed. According to comments below the video, this is common in parts of Croatia and bribery is just how things get done.

"That is Split police department they are known for taking the bribe. That wouldn't pass at any other district buth Split. Glupi tovari!" - YouTube user Petric

Watching the video, you'll see the Mercedes-Benz driver carrying on with speeding and even worse, dangerous lane changes putting innocent victims directly in harms way. A speeding Mercedes-Benz can be a great tool of destruction, due to it's heavy weight and extremely hard building materials. These vehicles are built so well, at speeds of 250 km/h they can become missiles of destruction should anything go wrong. Despite the danger, the crooked cop still accepts the bribe and goes about his merry way. Do you think this bribery occurs in the United States? Comment below!
