$4,400,000 Tata Nano covered in gold and jewels

Would you rather have two Bugatti Veyrons, or this lavishly encrusted golden s-box? The Tata Nano was designed to be the cheapest, most economical form of mass produced transportation. Designed and built in India, it was originally built to create an affordable mode of transportation for the people. Being that India takes great pride in intricate craftsmanship, it was only a matter of time before a gaudy blinged out Tata hit the scene. Covered in 80 kilos of 22 carat gold, 15 kilos of silver, and a few gemstones, this incredible machine is worth $4.4 million dollars!

Even though this is really not my thing, I can totally appreciate the time and skill it takes to create such a beautiful masterpiece. The only thing missing is 30 inch wheels! How many man hours would it take to carefully craft all of the details seen on this vehicle? With enough child-driven sweatshop labor, anything is possible.

Imagine driving this car through the poverty stricken India; you would literally have people coming up to the car and chiseling away at your pride. In a world of economic fail, this vehicle is a clear evidence of the rich getting richer, and the poor getting poorer. While people are starving in this country, this rich a-hole has the idea to invest over 180 pounds of precious metal into a Tata Nano. Not a Ferrari, Bentley, or Rolls-Royce, no; a cheap s-box built for the people converted into a chariot for this rich d-bag. The way I see it, this is a slap in the face of Indian people. Crazy but true, this is the most expensive and ugliest car I have ever seen!
